WELCOME TO
THE GARDEN CLUB OF HINSDALE

Founded in 1921, The Garden Club of Hinsdale's mission is to stimulate interest and increase the knowledge and love of gardening among amateurs; to aid in the protection of native trees, plants, and birds; to encourage civic planting, and promote the national effort to keep America beautiful.

Our club is a charter member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc. Central Region and The Garden Clubs of Illinois, Inc. District II. We are over 100 members strong and celebrate the talents of each of our members as we continue to learn and explore the wonders of our gardens.

Hinsdale Train Station Gardens

The Garden Club of Hinsdale has maintained the gardens on the east and west side of the Hinsdale train station for decades.

Each spring, members clean, replant, and spruce up the gardens. Weekly, throughout the growing season, members clean, water, and weed. In the fall, the garden is cleaned up and prepared for the winter.

Our club is thankful for the support of the Village of Hinsdale for their assistance with regular watering during the summer's hot months.
